Hey everyone I just thought I would put this out there because today Im having one of those days.I simply cannot be bothered or motivated to do any thing except type
.On these days I often forget to eat or drink and apparently that vital for recovery but unfortunitly I simply cannot for the life of me find motivation to go into the kitchen and prepare much of anything at all.So instead to ensure I get my vitamins and proper water intake I did a small easy preparation.I make a fruit and veg and water smoothie I just take a handful of berries a full banana and a blob of frozen spinach and blend it all up until its decent and add a straw.I feel personally keeping the ingredients simple is best. I sometimes have mango in place of berries but man!!! this helps when your not hungry and pretty much in agony.That and a nice hot herbal tea.I like turmeric,ginger and mint.Its not one size fits all this may not work for everyone but today this works for me.And it helps me feel as though im actually helping myself with minimal effort.Oh and having frozen spinach,mango and berries on hand is helpful to.
0 energy days stink and I also make a shake when I am not hungry and have 0 energy to bother to make anything.
haha! omg! they do hey! I just get my shake and put Netflix on or sit outside in the sun.Its so cold in Australia at the moment so they warm sun is sooooo soothing.That and a heat pack works well or a nice big bowl of preprepared soup!.Sometimes you just gotta have the do nothing day to rest<recover and restore and then take on the world when your feeling better.The trick is to stop your mind from racing though
I often stop and feel guilty.But I am techinically doing something Im resting my body
and that is super important!
It is important but it is difficult specially when you are used to keeping busy.
Well I am still just in my 4th week out of surgery but when i truly have no energy i drink āensure enliveā. It has enough calories to be a meal and the vitamins and all. Its not perfect, def more sugar that I ate before. But it is nice for days when you canāt get down the stairs to the kitchen without help and these are shelf stable so you can have a little cooler in your room.
It is just a little thick, which i like because i had choking problems before my surgery. I haveāt had any since but Iām sure it will take awhile for the fear to go away.
