Two week post-op! (:

HI EVERYONE!
Just wanted to let you guys know how I am doing...
The stabbing pain is GONE in my neck! My neck is really no longer sore, but it gets a little stiff at times. I have gone with no medicines, for 2 days. I have never done that in 9 months!
I do get some headaches.. but better than before! My incision is also really itchy!

I also come back from the doctor today to be told my deaf left ear has regain almost all of its hearing! BEST NEWS EVER!
I really hope this experience happens to everyone. I really read bad things happening, it scared me. But I feel being like 16 helps that fact. But even if your 80, you could have the same experience! (:

My hair is also growing back so quickly! CRAZY!

I hope everyone is doing well! <3

I just read two of your posts and WOW! I go to my neurosurgeon for the first time this Friday (Don’t feel too bad about prom- I’m missing mine to go see this doc) and I’m hoping he agrees to surgery. I’m desperately sick of this endless pain. How bad was it for you BEFORE surgery? I get headaches every day, and they usually escalate to migraines within minutes, and can last for days with no relief despite medication. I’m only 18, so maybe if I had surgery I could recover nicely too! You gave me hope that all of these recovery horror stories I’ve read might not be the case for me, so thanks! I’m so happy to hear you’re doing so well btw, congrats!!

Your incision looks GREAT! I have always heard that itchy incisions means they are healing well. Yours certainly looks like it! AND you are getting hearing back TOO! Way cool! I am so happy for you! All kinds of good things happening :)

I am SO HAPPY for You Sydney !!!!!
