the reason i ask is because i woke up this morning at 5 am shaking as i woke i thought i was shaking because i was cold, then i fell back to sleep, i woke again an hour later slightly shaking got dressed went to the bathroom and went and got a drink and as i was standing in my kitchen i started shaking again my entire body i couldnt stop i called my husband i couldnt even walk- we tried but i couldnt move..i just shook..after a few minutes i stopped and made it to my living room then i stopped shaking. but i still feel shaky inside jittery typer shaky..wondering if they are tremors or seziures?
i use to have upper body tremors with chiari that only came on when i was standing or on my feet for long periods of time. this even never happend before...lastnight i felt drained, and my face hurt-like the bones- and with a muscular numbness that i have constantly since PT pressed on my neck (1.5yrs)
I am so sorry your day started like this!!!! How is the shaking now...It is about 1:15pm???
My understanding of seizures....and I may very well be wrong...but here is my understanding on seizure.....I use to work with folks who took seizure and this is what I saw:
When a client was in the beginning stages of having a seizure..9 out 0f 10 times they had a "look'...kinda like..lights are on but no ones home look. that last a minute or so..then BAM...eyes roll back, loss of bladder and bowel control..if they didn't fall down but were shaking like crazy...I would ease them to the floor and place them on their side....many folks having seizures vomit...thus..putting them on their side kept them from choking..the longest seizure I personally witnessed last about 4 minute....then the client would be exhausted and after getting them cleaned up..would sleep for hours.
What you wrote about is interesting......have you had bloodwork done recently? Thyroid off can cause this..along with vitamin deficencies.
Did you call your doctor??? If not..IMHO you should.
I can only imagine how scared you and hubby must have been......Please let us know how you are , ok????
I hope you are feeling better tonight. I have had something happen like that. Mine would start at any time of the day. My whole body would shake uncontrollably like I was freezing to death but I wouldn’t be cold at all! I would shake so hard that all of the muscles in my body would hurt soon bad. I still haven’t found out what caused these episodes but am very curious as to where they were all over body tremors or a seizure. Thankfully I haven’t had any of these since surgery. I will keep you in my prayers. God Bless honey and feel better soon!
Love and Gentle hugs,
Tara
