New symptom question?

Okay I know we all have a new symptom every day but this is one that is kind of freaking me out a little and I’m in between doctors. It’s been so super busy the last week with the holidays but I’m having a vibration or “earthquake” inside my head it starts as a wobble and works up to a full blown vibration. I’m on anti seizure meds and have never had one but now I’m afraid because I’m afraid. Anyone else??? Wth is goin on. I’m taking it easy laying in bed I’ve been really ignoring my body the last two weeks because I was determined to live every moment of the holidays with my family bit I think the time has come to pay the piper :)). I do hope you all had the best Christmas ever I did, I enjoyed my family like never before

Hi. You know after reading this i am wondering if my daughter is having something similar. She is unable to describe it to me but it is obvious on her face that it is disturbing. She says it is like her head is numb and tingly and she feels wobbly in her head with pressure that makes it heavy. Then she will say "I just can not describe it." I do not know if there is any similarity to what the two of you may be going through But I will tell you that it does bother her tremendously, not to mention as her mother it is quite disturbing to myself also. And you are right, it is a new symptom every day or an exageration of one that started the day before.

I hope the best for you and pray the New Year will bring relief for everyone.

Thanks ask her if its feels like a wobble then progresses into a full vibration sometimes accompanied with disorientation and tunnel sucked feeling I am kind of afraid I am having the onset of seizures as I’ve never had them and don’t know what they feel like. Hope your daughter feels okay going to ask the neuropsychology doc tomorrow I have to get my results

Brandi..this is not something I've experienced..and sounds like it could be seizure activity. I'd get it checked out for sure.

I dont know if its related but I do have epilepsy, I know seizures can look different for everyone but in my experience it was like a whole body jerk, sometimes it would interupt my speech, or cause me to bite my tongue, the jerks would make my legs give out and fall down the stairs, the jerks would only last a split second and I didnt lose consciousness, I only had one seizure where I did lose consciousness and it caused me to have a car accident but we didnt know I had epilepsy at the time. It would make me drop things, the best thing to do is to request an EEG, that will tell you if there is seizure activity going on. I hope this helps.

You should really call your NS or NL or who ever you are seeing for seizures. It may just be a medication issue, but it is still serious. Please let us know how you are doing. We all really do care about you.

Tracy Z.

I get a weird vibration in my head from time to time. When its present its worse when I'm talking.

my daughter was diagnosed Dec. 14th with Chiari Malformation, one of her symptoms is a “vibrating brain”. she said it feels like a tuning fork is put on her brain. Her EEG showed no seizure activity. She is scheduled for surgery next week, so we will see if the surgery stops the vibrating.

I understand your daughter because I have similar and I cant explain it to my wife. My head and face tingle with a numbness of that fell asleep feeling and my head feels like its been inflated. I get tunnel vision and my nystagmus goes off the charts. Usually for me this is when I've pushed it to much and just need to rest. I havent connected it to siezures etc..
