First I would like to say how wonderful everyone on here is. These might just be the neatest 750 and counting people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I am a year post op and I went through some crazy stuff. Just curious if anyone else had an over night change. My first was the pain. Went from so bad for two months and taking two diluaded every 4 hours to waking up and not taking a pill again. The “weird” symptoms lasted for months longer. I went two months without food passing my lips and barely had the energy to make it to the sofa. Then woke up the next day and ate two huge pit beef sandwiches on rolls and played 9 holes of golf!! I wouldn’t say perfection really but back to life for the most part. Put it this way I didn’t feel like I could crap out at any minute. Did anyone else go through anything similar? My ns said it could never happen this way.
Beeba,
Sounds like you are feeling better…awesome! I haven’t heard of this happening to anyone, but enjoy
the good for as long as you can! I just went through 3 weeks of a chronic headache
and migraines with a flare up of my Celiac disease…stinks! But then all of
a sudden today I feel like a different person! I just run with it when I feel good
because it doesnt ever last too long. Enjoy!
Hopefully more people will reply to your post. I’m curious if anyone else had
experienced what you have!
XOXO Monique
Beeba,
I’m glad to hear that you’re feeling so much better:) That’s awesome! I haven’t had surgery yet, so I can’t speak from experience. I have read that it can take up to a year to see the full improvement/benefit from surgery. I can’t imagine waking up one morning without pain! Your story gives me hope:) I am so happy for you! Embrace it and enjoy it!

My recovery was not so sudden...but improvement did come in many areas!! That goes to show us that everyone is different and recovery is different for everyone....
Hows your golf game??? thanks for posting!!! keep us updated.
Peace,
Lori
