Hey gang...I need some advice. My nausea has been really really bad the last few days. I have my first appointment with a NS this Thursday, so hopefully he can give me something. But any suggestions for what might help in the meantime? Thank you!
Ginger root also works, or even ginger ale if it has real ginger in it.
Hope it eases up!!
I second the ginger. I found some anti nausea gum with ginger at CVS. I also got some ginger candy at the health food store. They work for me.
Thanks everyone! yooosydney...after all that I've gone through...nothing sounds crazy anymore! I will try it! And tomorrow I will be hitting the stores and getting me some ginger everything!
When you feel like you're about to throw up, grab one of those small square alcohol swabs they use for injections (you can buy them at Walgreens or any other pharmacy). I swear to you, they really help with nausea! I used them on laboring moms and myself. :) Other things - sipping on ice cold water, peppermint essential oil, and pressure points...
Hope that helps!

Hi all! I just wanted to let you know that ginger works! I've found ginger tea, which really doesn't taste that good to me so I mix it with regular, ginger ale, and I found ginger root...this has been a tremendous help...I pop 1 ginger root in the morning, have a ginger ale with my lunch, and another ginger root when I get home from work. And for the most part the nausea has been manageable! I've had a few bouts, but they only last minutes...not hours! So thanks for the advice! :-)
