So glad to he ar from anyone near me,I've felt alone even though my family tries to understand I know they can't.I Iive in Clyde. My journey has been a long one about 27yrs.

I'm from NC too. In fact last week I went through Clyde on my way to Tenn. I too have been researching Dr. Rosner. I'm not sure yet, I read the reviews and he's had some issues in the past but I'm still leaning towards him if and when I have surgery. As far as I know he's the only Chiari Specialist in NC. I was diagnosed in April, although now I realize I've had symptoms for a number of years. My journey has not been as long as yours or so many other Chiarians on this site but take time to read their stories and discussions and you will learn so much. Some of the stories are so heartbreaking and some are inspiring but the one thing they have in common is their support and understanding.

Thanks for your feed back Marilyn, I have found a inssurance that is intended for those Iof us who have no inssurance. It seems God is at work since Jan. Ihave been to Wake Forest for another oppinion that was a joke...a$9000.00 joke so dissapointed . I feel pretty sure I will let Dr. Rosner do it when all is settled with ins. I never expected to be able to get ins.like I said God is at work!
