I had decompression and a shunt at the beginning of this year, and although the dizziness is much better it is still a constant problem. Last night I jumped up to go downstairs, which resulted in me falling down the stairs. It was the middle of the night and thank goodness my daughter was asleep. Bruises, carpet burn, and a twisted wrist later...Thank God I didn't hit my head. Not to sound discouraging, but decompression doesn't always fix everything. I learned this from Tracy =).
