I saw my pcp and she is sending me for an MRI of my brain and spine with & w/o contrast and then I am getting full blood work done to make sure nothing else is causing pain along with the Chiari 1 Malformation and then She is referring me to the Neurosurgeon I found that is a specialist in Chiari 1 Malformation since the neurologist I saw 2 years ago didn't do anything at all for me or seem to know anything about Chiari. I am relieved that my doctor is doing this for me...I have been very concerned since my symptoms have been fairly extreme lately. Wish me luck! :)
