Just an update. I had an appt last night with my PCP and was relieved with what he said. I told him about the NS dismissing my symptoms and telling me that my symptoms had nothing to do with a Chiari and that he wanted to send me to a headache specialist. My dr said he is not convinced that that I simply have headaches. He’s concerned that im not getting good flow. My blood pressure and pulse were way out of whack last night while I was there, and he saw how off balance I was, I was has trouble finding my words and i got real dizzy and almost fell of the table when i sat up after he examined me. That really bothered him and he said he wants me to go ahead and get the CINE MRI done next week and said that if the NS still pushes the headache dx, then my PCP is sending me to Ann Arbor UofM to put together a team of Dr’s to get to the bottom of all this.
I am so blessed to have such an amazing and caring primary care Dr. He’s never given up on me even when I was ready to give up. I just wish that half the Drs out there could be as caring as him!
