Do anyone's fingers and hands feel numb or asleep?

Do anyone’s fingers and hands feel numb or asleep? Mine do occasionally and it drives me nuts. Am I the only one???

It happens to me all the time. My feet too. It's really annoying!

I have that happen on a daily basis and my feet as well as well as my face. It is really annoying.

My hands and fingers were going to sleep and numb regularly and especially waking me up in the middle of the night. I had decompression surgery almost two months ago, and it hasn't happened once since!

YES....BOTH MY HANDS AND FEET GO NUMB AND TINGLE..NOT 24/7 THANK GOD...BUT PRETTY OFTEN.

ive noticed some of my fingers numb in the middle of the night and it kind of wakes me up during my current flare up, but ive mostly put it down to just lying funny and coincidence. had some horrible shooting pains in my right arm like someone hitting my funny bone, only last a minute or two, but agonising. plus i had the sensation like sunburn over my right shoulder, for a few days last week. that was wierd.

im notmreadimg much into it, im probably just super sensitive to anything unusual at the moment while waiting for a complete diagnosis.

Hi Dorie,

I experience that a lot at least bout 2 to 3 times a week now mostly in morning and night... Massaging the hand normally will help it stop faster or make you feel like it does. My feet n legs do it randomly making me fall. Talk to your doctor combine all symptoms together write them down as you experience them most doctors want to know how long, what brings it on, when did the problems start, does anything help with the symptoms. Good luck.

Happened all the time to my daughter!

I get it in my hands and in my face all the time.. Not one of the doctors have said a thing about it. My PCP did offer an explanation once. Since I get it mostly on the right side of my face...and I often get these heated feelings on the left side of my brain... like little shocks of lightning traveling across the inside of my left brain, she said. well that makes sense since the left brain controls the right side.

My skin, especially on the left side, goes numb in random places. One time my left foot just stopped moving. I could feel it, but it wouldn't move at all! Nope, you're not alone. :)

My hands, arms, legs, feet, and face go numb almost daily. Especially at night, I use to wake up with very limited use of my hand for a little while, Since I started taking Topamax it has helped with the numbness just because it causes vasodilation...blood flows easier. The meds of course do nothing for the Chiari. It is starting to get worse again, So time to see my neurosurgeon. Looks like we discuss surgery next month.

Happens to me all the time...alot during the night, waking me up..it's annoying..

And no one really wants to listen...

I get tingling/numbness in my hands and fingers almost daily and occasionally in my feet. I told my NS about this at my last appt right before thanksgiving. He said it is linked to the Chiari and is the onset of serious neurological symptoms due to the pressure around the base of my skull that if left will be irreversible. This is what has pushed me to go forward with the surgery, as prior to the numbness I would only get the head/neck pains. You need to talk to your doctor, if left the numbness may become more permanent!

My hands used to get tingly and numb but figured out that it was my nerve at my elbows that were being pinched. But my feet get tingly/numb. Walking usually aggravates it and happens at night. Hope it doesn’t get worse.
