I’m 2 weeks post op and have been feeling great. Staples are out, I’m off steroids, and am tapering the pain meds. My incision site feels pretty good and my neck sourness/stiffness is gradually improving. My concern is today I started experiencing pretty severe headaches/dizziness with movement or straining (laughing, coughing, bathroom, etc.) before I contact my NS though I’d see if anyone else had similar experiences. I was feeling so great about surgery, but today I’m feeling pretty defeated.
Torrey, unless you feel that something is really wrong, this may be a sign that you need to rest. By rest I mean lay down for most of the day for a few days. You are so new out of surgery that any tiny but of over doing it can cause symptoms. Don’t panick, this doesn’t mean your surgery didn’t work! Just Rest your poor lil torn up head.
