I had surgery on 7/28…so far the headaches have seized but some parts of my head is still swollen & numb and the back of my neck is sore and be throbbing (ouch) sometimes as well as my shoulders or sore. My wonderful children I have to rub me down with Ben Gay almost daily as well as me using Hot & Cold therapy. Pain meds. and muscle relaxants on deck. Daily body functions are not causing me to hurt as much after 3 weeks. My physical therapist(finished 2-3 sessions earlier)because of my progress told me to ask surgeon during post-op on 9/9 for ROM therapy for my neck. I just started back slowly driving. I have to have someone with me as an extra set of eyes because of the limitation of my neck movement.
Thank you both…I will be looking for that cream as well…
I have used the arnica and it is a good pain relief,I am using it on knee pain too.Take it easy for a while longer hopefully you will get better as time progresses.Did your surgeon use staples? My NS used glue and my incision has done very well,I can’t imagine how the staples would feel.Take care and be patient the healing will be up and down it seems to get better then at times goes back to pain again, your body is adjusting to the changes.Good luck
Go SLOWLY! Don’t rush it!
I just downloaded a coupon for purchase.
