i am so scared i go down to wake forest for my pre-op in the morning and i am scared to death. i know its a great hospital and the doctor is great in what he does but i wish everything goes ok? i don't think i have a question or a discussion but just needed to vent i have no one else to listen to me or give me feedback and i love this website. you all are so nice and are very giving in the info and i love it,thanks so much!!!!!!!

Well wishes for you, we are all with you at heart. Have faith that you are doing the right thing to have a better tomorrow.

Hi,

I Live in Va. and know many Dr's at Wake Forest. They are incredible. If there was anything bad that has happened to a Chiarian there I would know. A friend of mine facilitates a Chiari Support Group there & we talk often. If you would like I can get her information for you. I know this is scary. Please try and look at tomorrow as the first step to relieving symptoms. I will keep you in my prayers.

Please let us know how everything goes,

Tracy Z.

We are all thinking about you  I am 4 weeks post op. I’m usually pretty tough but have to admit I was terrified. Looking back now, I had nothing to fear. Don’t get me wrong, recovery isn’t fun, however you will be amazed at how your body goes into action hero mode and gets you through it. Keep us posted

Sending prayers your way! I am 3 weeks post op today! Hang in there and just know you are on the right road to feeling better. Not a cure but hopefully some relief!

Keep us posted!

My thoughts will be with you every step of the way. I wish one of us were closer so we could come be with you but girl we are there in spirit. I will be waiting for that report I want you to try to remember everything ( a tall order I know) to tell me but the good stuff and the bad stuff. I’m thinking your going to be thinking way more clearly than I am in a few more weeks.:). You got this its a step to your new normal your recovery. It’s going to be great. Lots of love
Brandi

It's normal to be scared! I was a wreck but once it was said and done it was much easier than I ever imagined!

I was terrified before the surgery. However, the surgery was not half as bad as I thought it would be. I am 6 weeks post surgery and it is a slow recovery, but you will be fine! I will be thinking about you. Everything will go well.

I don't know you, but I saw your post and wanted to send you best wishes for a successful surgery and a speedy recovery. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
