I am scheduled for surgery on August 30 in Pittsburgh with Dr. Jho. He does this surgery endoscopically. I feel pretty good about my decision, just wondering if anyone has any reasons why I shouldn't have it done? Has anyone regretted surgery? Dr. Jho has done the procedure many, many times the nurse assures me, but I can't find anyone who has seen him.
I will go back 2 months later and have another surgery for cervical stenosis and then back again 2 months after that for the final surgery for the cervical stenosis. Again, does anyone have any thoughts on that?
Please feel free to be as honest as you like! I really want to make sure I am making the right decision. In a way, I would like more time to decide, but know that more time does nothing but add to my worrying! I'm scared at this point that the damage will get worse if I wait. I'm having a really hard time walking at this point and feel like waiting could just cause more damage.
