Hey all,
I haven't been on here long and I am more of a reader than a poster but I do appreciate this site a lot.
I was diagnosed June of 2014 and decompressed January 19, 2015
I had a 18mm herniation and a load of symptoms to go along with it. No syrinx but a completely blocked anterior CSF flow.
I had my surgery 8 days ago and it seems like I have made zero progress. My surgery consisted of skull bone removal, laminectomy of C1 and C2, and duraplasty. They stripped my pericranium to make the dura patch.
I had horrible pain that really never got controlled. Two CT scans to try to figure out the pain which showed nothing. Sent home on Hydrocodone, and Flexerill.
I get waves of excruciating, pulsating pain in my temples any time I stand up or sit down and pressure all over my head and face.
Has anyone had that pounding temple pain post surgery. It is just horrible and not showing any improvement?
