So....Does Size Really Matter?

Okay, so I've been doing a lot of reading, on this forum and on other sites, and I can't seem to find a correlation between the size of the brain herniation (mine is 10mm) and the level of severity of symptoms. Does anyone know why someone with a 2mm herniation could be bed-ridden and someone, like me, with a 10mm herniation has good days and bad days....?? I'm confused. Logically, you'd think that the longer the herniation, the worse the symptoms. Idk...what do y'all think??

My understanding through research and with the help of my NS is that the CSF flow is more important than the size of your herniation I was a 5mm with only minimal flow in front and zero flow in back. 3 weeks before decomp was done

Thanks for replying! I appreciate everyone’s input!
