How many hours of sleep on average a night do you all get? I get between 4-4 1/2 hrs.
Most of the time around 5 or 6 hours. But there are times that I get none. On rare occasions I will sleep 12 hours. So as you can see, its all over the place. We cannot seem to get my sleep regulated. I have difficulties both falling asleep and staying asleep. I've tried several sleep medications and found no relief. I have now increased my exercise and that has helped.
yeah wtf, 5 hours lately! I'm going to see my phsych this week because this month I started taking Klonopin... It's been keeping me out of the ER for panic attacks but now, no sleep and my eyes are burning. Before that I was taking 0.5mg of Xanax and I was sleeping 8 hours regularly.
shalunya, I have the 12 hour thing the other night too. I think it's because your body is finally just completely exhausted.
I hope you girls feel better soon, I feel your pain <3
I was diagnosed with sleep apnea a few years ago that was attributed to asthma, but recently its been deemed a symptom of my CM, so not only do i share your lack of sleep, 5 or 6 hours max, but i usually choke myself awake too... fun stuff, eh?
I get around 10, but I take Trazodone & Amitriptylene at bed time. Sometimes I do have insomnia if I am in a ton of pain or over exerted myself that day.
I'm also between 4-4.5 hours. Sometimes less. I'm not sure what keeps me up the most, the headache or the sound in my ears.
I have sleep issues too. I usually get about 3-4 hours a night, but some nights I can’t sleep at all. It’s a vicious cycle…I can’t sleep because of the pain, but not sleeping makes the pain worse.
Yea, sometimes if I turn on the radio it helps block out the ringing/sounds in my ears.

I had that problem... and now since I have been on Amitriptylin I sleep much better. It also helps to take one when the headaches pop up. I started on 25mg now I take 75mg about an hour before I go to bed... it helps. Ask your doctor about it. It's brand name is Elavil.
I average 2 to 5 hours a night…and that’s with getting up a few times. I’ve tried every med out there over the last 9 years, but nothing helps. It’s a strange thing…before surgery I could sleep 10 hours, easy!

I sleep too much. I have a hard time falling asleep but then have the worst time getting up. I work 2nd shift and that may have a bit to do with it. I tend to stay up a good while after work and sleep all day. I almost physically can't get myself out of bed in the morning.
