Sharp shooting pain in leg

Hi all

5 times today I have had to stop walking due to sharp shooting sensations in my leg. Starting in the thigh all the way to the ankle. I think/hope it is just a trapped nerve. But I recently started to suffer some loss of sensation in my arms and hands which NS linked to my chiari. The pain has been so severe I burst out crying as soon as I could get myself to a seat.

Anyone else suffered anything similar? Could it be another symptom to add to my ever growing list?

Abby that sounds terrible - I am not familiar with EDS, I hope it doesn't cause too much discomfort. I can't imagine what that must feel like.

It was definitely more of a stabbing pain, so hopefully it isn't nerve related. I go to my NS on Friday so will mention it anyway.

Sometimes just to know their are others out there going through the same is more comforting than hearing what the doctor has to say.
