I'm so glad. You were on my mind last night. September can't come fast enough. I'm so happy for you. Isn't this such a twist life we live...one where we are glad to hear that we will be having surgery? Praying the time goes fast and you will get the relief you deserve.
Thanks Joanne xx

Glad to hear Denise! Did the NS say exactly what hes doing to repair it?
close off the pseudo and then put in a new graft and close the dura, said the fluid can shift and then cause a syrinx in the spinal canal x

Of course there are risks. You have to weight them out and think about what your quality of life is. As soon as my NS said surgery, I couldn't jump on the bandwagon fast enough! I had no life, I feared I'd lose my house and dogs because I couldn't care for them. So a no brainer for me. Only you know if it's right for you, and if it is place your faith in your surgeon and to God!
Any reservations, talk to your neurosurgeon. Mine was able to discuss outcomes, complications, etc.
