Had a good consultation with my neurologist today,totally agreed that my psuedomeningcele needs repairing by the NS and cant understand why he opted to do the epidural blood patch but suggested that he maybe wanted to try it first before major surgery again.Cant carry on much longer with these low pressure headaches everyday,making me so ill.I just want my life back?! to go back to teaching,being a mum and socialable again like I use too.feel worse now after the decompression than before.been 8 mths now since the surgery and the psuedo hasnt resolved itself,it needs operating on!My NS hasnt come across this complication before and is very reluctant to repair it with all the risks involved,which makes me reluctant to allow him to do it! think I might get a 2nd opinion,has anyone else had theres repaired? and did you develop a syrinx after?
