Friday I will have my 4 week post-op appointment. Wondering if I will get the Ok to return to work.... I am a teaching assistant. Somedays I feel good and maybe I am over doing because a bad usually follows. Would it be hoping for to much to go back after 4 weeks?
Thanks Ladies.....not what I wanted to hear but I am quickly realizing you are most likely right...Beeba thanks for the smile and helping me to confirm to i need to stop worrying about what I think I should be able to do. I know this is crazy but it has in the back of my mind for years that others think I am making a mountain out of a mole hill and that I am just loosing my drive or that I am a bit of a hypercondreact...practicing patience with ourselves can be hard.
Each of us has a unique experience. I had a pretty good recovery, but going back 1/2 days after 7 1/2 weeks is not easy. Take as much time as possible to get your strength back. Good luck and take care of yourself.
