I have not been on here in a bit.. life, work, teenagers..lol... but I found a ns on here and in my area and decided to see him as a second opinion.. the ns discussed surgery and I don't understand what two options there are for it.. One was just bone only? and one was with a patch? but he could not tell me which direction he was going to take.. what are basic recovery time? I know it depends on each person..but my employer is asking on how long I am going to be put of work.. honestly I don't know.. I am having the surgery Sept 2nd. Makes things easier when the kiddos are in school
My doctor did everything. I was out of work for 6 weeks. I could not drive for 4 weeks. You will want every bit of that time. Limit stress because it does effect the recovery process. It took me just over a year to feel perfect again because of the stress.
