Hi All, still doing ok , pain undercontrol, had a coughing fit this morning , mega painful but soon went, feeling a bit sick now though, I have been given anti sickness meds but I think they are making my bowels very loose! but I supose thats better than not being able to go lol! washed my hair for the first time yesterday it was lush to get all the gunk out!!how long after surgery can you still get a csf leak? I am paranoid about that and really dont want this to happen, then again I dont supose anyone wants it!! will write again in afew days thanks for all your support xxxxxx
Glad to hear you doing good. Keep up the rest and don't over do. Even when you feel better, do not try to do to much. It will be hard but it will make recovery better.
My CSF leak happened about 2 weeks post-op. My doc really thought with it taking so long to show itself that it would fix itself and reabsorb (I had a little bubble at the bottom of my incision). 2-weeks later it still had not fixed itself and it was starting to be bothersome so he surgically fixed it. I'm now 2 weeks post-op again (6 weeks from decompression, 2 from the CSF leak) and I feel SO much better.
