I had surgery 1 week ago today. Had to go back to the doctor yesterday because my shoulder, face and upper back are swollen, red and very itchy. They said I have a contact reaction to something. So topical steroids and an oral histamine blocker. The meds make me sleep ever more.
Sorry to hear about your reaction. More sleep may be a good thing. Hang in there. Good thing is you are already one week out from surgery.

Went back to my pcp yesterday because my “reaction” was getting much worse. They did some bloodwork and put me on antibiotics just in case it is cellulitis. I go back today at 1 pm to see if unwed to be admitted again.

well dang....did you have any previous allergies to medicines before? do they know if it is a medicine allergy or some other sort of allergy??
Not allergic to meds. They think it is more infection based because of my prev hx
