. Hi everyone I hope your all feeling good. I have a question. I have had 3 surgeries in the last year and I was wondering what works the best for others on medications that you take. I need to find something to make me feel better. I am concerned with taking meds as addiction runs in my family. ( I have never had this problem myself) although some thing has to give I have 3 boys and can't take care of them when I am in pain .
What type of pain are you experiencing right now, Lesley? That would make a big difference in the the brainstorming process.
lol yes donna that is probly a good idea. ok i am still having headaches not nearly as bad as before, one of my biggerst problems is leg pain it is constant i dont know if it is nerve problems or what. my neck, my shoulders are a little better since my neck surgery but still hurt. some days i feel like a truck hit me. and constant fatigue, ear pain, and i know theres more but im in a fog. any feed back is appreciated.
.
Maybe have a check up with whichever doctor is following you the closest and ask about your symptoms and what non-medication options you have. I'm not a doctor, but I might ask them quite a few things such as:
Can I try physical therapy, arnica gel, massage, or a TENS unit for my neck/shoulders?
Have I been checked for disc problems, sciatica, or tethered cord for my leg pain, assuming it is nerve related? Have I had a lumbar MRI recently?
Hope that helps you!
Donna
