Hello. I wanted to let everyone with Chiari 1 with syringomyelia of an ongoing study taking place at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland. Participants are followed for 6 years at the NIH hospital. All clinical visits and tests are covered. All surgery, if recommended, all inpatient expenses are covered. And ALL TRAVEL and on-site lodging IS COVERED.

Hi Kurt, you are right. Clinical Trial 2010-N-0143 is open, but not “actively” recruiting.

It may be worthwhile to call the phone number on the Clinical Trial 2010-N-0143 site. Principle investigator is John. D. Heiss.
