Need advice on a Chiari Specialist in PA....ASAP

I have been all over this board lately and I apologize if I posted something before. My memory is shot and I have no idea what I am doing sometimes. Not very quick at putting things together. I have gone over "The Doctor List," but I am asking you for your opinions on your NS and/or a Chiari Specialist. I have gotten some information and I am not sure what to do. I am sure that I need to see someone that really deal with Chiari. I am sick of dealing with my NL who blows me off and my NS who is indifferent. I need to find someone asap.

Thanks,

Nicole

who is it that you are seeing. If it is Dr Bejjanii from UPMC; I'll give you any info that I have on him. Other you may want to join the group Chiari People of PA. They have had experience with som doctors from that side and central PA. If I remember correctly after reading you page you are kinds in the middle of the state right, like maybe an hour from state college .

Since I see my NS in Pittsburgh....can I join Pa. Chiarians???

Tracy,

I do not know why yuo would not be. I forgot you travelled to PA for your NS. I was looking for her to maybe find others you have experienced the NS's in PA. I forget that at times we have to travel to find answers really. I guess I really got lucky to since Dr. W from hopkins ordered the CINE and Doc b well was just in Pittsburgh. Reflecting while typing to you I guess I am really lucky in the sense that Doc B. first, with belief cervical stenosis was to blame for all symptoms go to Doc W. at Hopkins get same report but CINE ordered. Get CINE and report saying blockage. Get fusion to fix stenosis, go back to Doc B. Tell him symptoms are still the same and Doc B says if you want surgery I'll do it but It might not make you better, then It might make you better.

Outside of Diagnosis, getting the right NS and going frmo there seemed to be easy, just hard to be believed at first because there could have been another problem causing the same symptoms.

Oh and nicole I made a mistake on the name it is PA chiarians, you can find it at the bottom of the main page, it might be on page 2 of the groups.
