Mixed bag of nuts of bolts and some hahas

First order of business be safe this Veteran's day weekend. For all veterans and their families, Thank You for the sacrifices that you have made. I include the families because many things that can never be recaptured were missed first birthdays, first steps, first words, anniversaries, etc. All of this was done to keep us safe and free, so thank you.

Next if I have any fellow brother or sister MARINES here with me Happy 237th Birthday. Be Safe.

Can you believe it too, the federal government closed on Monday, they finally recognized my petition for a national holiday for one of my girls birthday. No to get the other two recognized. This is a HAHA. I know it is closed due to Veteran's Day but 12 November is also Emma's 4th Birthday so I could not resist the temptation to make a big stink.

Hope all is doing well, I am making some progress in my physical therapy slowly but not as much as I wanted or as fast as I wanted. Still fighting with MET Life Disability they think I am able to return to being a "normal" since the NS said I no longer have any restrictions so I sent them this nice little letter with my functional capacity evaluation results which shows I am still unable to perform a sedentary job. Here is the nice letter I enclosed

Along with the information requested, I included some additional information that should assist you in your decision making process as it appears your staff is eager to close the case without completing due diligence and appropriate research for rare and obscure diseases though information is readily available on the internet. The sites have been approved though out my research process over the years either they are government sites or sites that I have been referred to by health insurance companies (BC/BS, CIGNA, Kaiser Permanente, etc).
In an ideal utopist society where an individual would be able to see a medical professional on a whim without a wait, would be nice, not this does not fit real world needs when sometimes an actual waiting list in time can exceed 2 months and yet an individual is given less than 4 weeks to get to the appropriate medical professional, secure an referral if necessary, have appropriate testing done, and get the results within an unrealistic timeframe. Yes, one can understand, a logical thought process of those who abuse the system and who are not CHRONICALLY or SERIOUSLY ILL, but for those who are this proves to be not only a serious financial hardship but a severe physical, mental, and emotional hardship as well as causing a great deal of additional stress that is not always handled well by individuals who are chronically or seriously ill.
I have also noticed that staff is in quite a hurry to render a quick decision to render a judgment before all applicable/ requested information has been turned in. As we have spoke before, I did inform you as to working on getting a functional capacity exam scheduled, which I was luckily enough to have scheduled very quickly and the results even more readily available to meet the deadline of November 18th.
I believe that the functional capacity exam, meets the subjective requirements in an objective manner which will continue to prove the disability limitations of which I continue to suffer. Even though disability was proven by a ranking governmental body which uses a very similar scale/rating methodology, with the exception of a point system that is based on total time worked + wages throughout a lifetime , not a flat percentage based on pay scale at a particular company, the definition of disability is the same not how payments are calculated.
As other requests to speak to other company officials regarding the quality of this particular case have gone ignored., I will request again to speak to someone no related in the decision making of the case to reach out and contact me due to the inconsistencies of information received throughout the time I have been dealing with the case as well as information received.

Finally, working to see a new NL as recommended by my NL as he is not that familiar with CM. I want to get with my NL 1 more time before I go though to see if he will up my dose of topomax since it is not phasing my headaches at this time it has helped the tremors though, still have them though.

Please be safe this weekend and sorry I have not been on much lately, but been in and out of ER (self) and just majorly fatigued.

Good luck getting through to met life! I hope you start feeling better soon!
