Can anyone give their opinion on which Chiari facilities would be best in the following states Or which facility you would recommend that are not listed…

Any in Florida? I live in Florida but unfortunately I looked into the Mayo clinic and they are so backed up on waiting lists they could not even give me an appointment. University of Miami was a nightmare, they blew me off, and Cleveland clinic in Florida has no experience in this area.
I am only 5mm but was in an accident last year. I was 1 to 2 mm four months ago and have now dropped to a 5 mm (right side only) and I’m getting worse and worse by the day stiff neck, excruciating pain in my head and so on with all the Chiari symptoms. I just found a great neurosurgeon in Jupiter, Florida however I am not certain of his experience with chiari Although he claims to be very familiar with it and has been very attentive to me. I have my second appointment coming up soon to see him with all the mri results.
Im so blessed to have my husband help me. Hes been caring for me through this ordeal and He’s been diligently researching all this for me.

You are totally doing the right thing by researching doctors it is so important to go to the best doctor that you can. He didn't do mine. I had mine 17yrs ago in the dark ages. lol But a friend of mine just had Dr Henderson in Maryland do hers and from what she told me about the experience and her results he is very good. Im sure other members will chime in about him. His work up before hand is extemely thorough and he's a great surgeon.

My recomdation is Dr. Micheal Rosner,if you research him you will see that he is scrutinized by many,he is loved by just as many patients…location Hendersonville,N.C. He’a pioneer in his field,he can not operate on anyone under 18 yrs. of age.The med. board is like the NSs they have got this all wrong and this NS has it right!He did my decompression and does patients from all over the country and even out of the country
Dr. Ringer at the Mayfield Clinic in Cincinnati did my surgery and I would definitely recommend him! As for the other locations...I've heard good things about Dr. Oro in Colorado, Dr. Trumble in Florida!
