Hi everyone, have any of you experieneced leaking clear fluid from your wound post surgery, I'm about two weeks out and I have been leaking clear fluid pretty aggressively. say my NS and got a CT and he said it does not appear to be under the dura but the leaking WILL not stop!
It was heavy at first then they were able to seal it with a durmabond at the ER then the flow slowed down almost completely. then on my way home from the ER I managed to throw up on the car causing a log of pressure on the scar a TON of fluid to being to pool out and since then has not stopped. This is now day two of a constant heavy flowing. Do I contact my NS again even though he said the fluid is ok and that it is my body healing from surgery?
Haley, it would seem very prudent to contact your doctor again or, in fact, go back to the ER if you are at all concerned.
