I had decompression surgery on May 8. I had another MRI on July 1 which showed no change in my syrinx. My NS was not “terribly disappointed” but I was. I wasn’t expecting major changes but atleast wanted to see some progress. I have read that it can take 6 months or more, but I would like to know what others experienced.
