Rather... how do you get your hair washed at the salon?

I've just gotten diagnosed with Chiari I with syrinx and have a future appt. to see a neurosurgeon. I've done a lot of research and many of the things they say not to do with Chiari, I haven't done in a long time because of the pain.

But I would like to continue to get my hair colored. I know not to bend backwards now but can I bend forward? Does this do harm? Not sure what to do and my kids keep asking me when I'm going to get it done.

Misty, I have my hair colored at the salon, then I drive home and rinse it in the shower. :slight_smile:

Thank you, ladies for the response. I had thought of rinsing in my own shower but didn't really like the idea of those chemicals running down my body! Maybe I could use a rain poncho. :)
