Frustrating Naps

I have a question.. I had decompression surgery on Sept 2nd of this year.. I was out of work for 6 weeks then went back to working a 32 to 40 hour work week.. usually 8 hour shifts 5 days a week.. I'm finding it hard to stay awake after I get home at 3.. i usually need a 2 -3 hour nap before I can function enough to cook dinner.. then I am off to bed by midnight.. Is this normal?..

Sadly yes! I was decompressed June 30,2015 and returned to work Nov 21,2015. The leave of fetigue was overwhelming, plus the added discomfort in my head and leg. It will get easier, and naps won't be as long. Sometimes you won't even need them. Please don't feel guilty about resting your body know what it needs in order to heal completely.
