Forget the surgeon. How about a new one

Went to the surgeon who I was seeing originally for my back and was basically told that everyone has chiari and my headaches weren't from it. He told me to take some Tylenol. I then asked some questions he said I'm fine and need some excercise. To note I am in good shape and not at all over weight. He was more concerned with my lumbar back herniation. Which is still hurting and causes me to limp. Anywho...he pretty much said go home their is nothing wrong its all in your head! (Pun intended)

Now what? I contacted a doctor I see at the University of Michigan for a referal to someone. I'm sure you have all shared this frustration. Although I am used to having to keep trying to find a doc who has a clue and will listen it always frustrates me. Anyone know of a doctor in Michigan?

Sorry you are not getting anywhere with your current NS...Mindy gave you her thoughts on Dr. MeneZe...Is seeing him a possibilty for you??? How far away is he from your home????

Unfortunately he is way too far away. The only listed person in Michigan is no longer in Michigan. Apparently he is now in Wisconsin. Bummer. Apparently I will have to keep looking.
