Since surgery I have had so much crackling, popping, grinding, cracking sounds coming from my neck at the base of my skull. Anyone else have this? What is it exactly? When I had my follow up I asked if it was normal after surgery, and I didn’t get a real answer.
Not painful, once in awhile I will get a headache from it…different from my normal ones.
I was just about to post asking about the same thing. I had surgery 2 months ago and the grinding/popping just started, it's very unnerving.
My ns said totally normal! Mine rarely does it now, I’m 9 mos post op!
