I was curious to know…has anyone experienced blurry vision? Or hazy rings around letters or lights? I’ve always had perfect vision and several months ago I started seeing blurry. Could this be a symptom or complication of the Chiari?
Hi Marianne, I havie visions issues involving Chiari, my vision fades out from the corners of my eyes inward. Not so much blurry more of a visual loss. This happens randomly a few times a day, my Neuro Opthomologist found that I have optic nerve swelling in both eyes from the pressure and he is optomistic that surgery will help :) I hope you can get the answers you are looking for.
I have vision issues as well. They come and go. Everything you described I get from time to time.
Blurry Vision was a symptom for me before surgery. It went away within 12 hours of surgery.

Yeah my blurry vision comes and goes. Always had 20 20 before the Chiari surgeries. Like I said now the blurriness and rings come and go. My original symptom was double vision. Still have that too.
Yes, I get blurred vision too. It comes and goes for no apparent reason!
