There's a possibility that I'll be relocating from upstate NY to San Francisco soon. Yay!!
I love adventures so I'm excited about living in a new place and making new friends, but I'm very concerned about being across the country from my medical team. I was decompressed last December and have had kind of a rough time since. I'm still not working for heaven's sake.
Anyway, anyone here from the Bay area? I may need recommendations for a PCP, neurologist, surgeon, etc.

I live in the Bay Area, there are amazing medical facilities here. I am being treated at Stanford in Palo Alto my surgeon is Dr. Steven Chang, he is amazing and so is his entire office. Before they determined that I needed surgery I was being treated by Dr. Auoura at Stanford’s Pain Clinc, also incredible. Like many with Chiari it was discovered I have a form of Sleep Apnea so I’m also a patient of Stanford’s Sleep Clinic. All their doctors, staff, and facilities have been fantastic. And as I prepare for surgery (less than 3 weeks away) all my doctors are talks with one another so their are no surprises.
I’ve also been told UCSF is great too, but sounded to me like their expertise was more on the pediatric side of Chiari.
