A Taboo Question

Hello everyone, I would like to start with a thank you to all of the wonderful people here who have been so supportive of me recently when I have been at quite a low point. I am here tonight because I want to talk to you all here about the taboo subject of medical marijuana. I never looked at it as medicine before, but recently a friend had me try it, and it helped to my surprise. I want to talk to my doctor about it to help cope with the pain, and epilepsy but I am unsure how to go about it. Lately as I have lost more feeling my body has felt like it normally would when I am about to have a seizure, and I think because of stress they have become a more regular occurrence. I don't know who else to ask about this, because I don't do drugs aside from what I get prescribed, and am afraid to tell my doctor. I receive pain medication also, but I only take it twice a day so partway through the day the pain gets bad. The marijuana helped me forget the pain and relax. My doctor also has forms pertaining to registering to the program, so I know she is one of "those doctors" so to speak. It's very taboo and I am unsure if I should talk to her about it, so if anyone can offer me advice I would gladly accept it. Thanks again everyone, I just didn't know who else I could ask. Sorry.
