Hi all! I had an appointment with my NS (who is a Chiari specialist) to review my C & T spine MRI's. Good news is I do not have a Syrinx! Yay!!! Bad news is the radiologist found nodules on my thryroid. :-( So tomorrow I'll schedule an appt with my PCP to go over all of that. Yay...more docs, more tests.. MRI also found a hemangioma in my T2. NS said its nothing and not to worry about it, but I'll discuss it with my PCP. So, I'm still waiting for a nerve conduction study with EMG, but as long as that goes ok, NS says my symptoms are because of Chiari, but doesn't want to do the surgery until they symptoms are so bad I can't stand it. I agree with him on that, so for now we'll just monitor. And more good news, the NS actually cleared me to go to a chiropractor! Calm down now....he's not allowed to go near my neck! But since I don't have a syrinx I would be fine to have my lower back and hips adjusted. I have severe osteoarthritis in my sacrum and right hip. I can't wait to get adjusted! So....good and bad, and still more to find out!

That sounds promising...still be careful at the chiro's!
Good luck with the thyroid stuff, most nodules go away as soon as treatment starts. They just have to take a closer look for now. Mine disappeared when I got on meds...
What kind of meds for the nodules? My doctor told me that is something just to watch, a nodule was found on my left thyroid. Thanks.
I was told I have a nontoxic multinodular goiter (nodules on my thryroid) the same time I was told I have Chiari. They left side of the thyroid is enlarged with nodules and the ultrasound shows nodules on the right also. I had CM decompression surgery last April. I am scheduled for surgery to remove my entire thyroid in Feb.
