I had depcompression at the end of June....and they also drain a syrnix..... I have had a few more MRI's to see if the syrnix has shrunk....which is hasn't.....last night I had one a terrible migraine that led to throwing up, and just SO MUCH PAIN! I haven't had a headache this bad since I had surgery....I felt I was back to where I was before.....does anyone know if syrinx and headches are related...I would think that possiblity is there...but just thought I would check with others! I have a NS appointment on the 22nd to see what my next step is..I think he is leaning toward a shunt to help me feel better.....I thought decompression would have taken care of everything, but it doesn't look that way for me.
