I know these boards are for chiari but since so many of us often develop syringomyelia so I figured I would go for it! Does anyone have any experience of having a syrinx in their thoracic spine without having one in the cervical spine? I ask because my mri was only of the cervical spine and it was clear but lately I’ve been having a lot of tingling and almost a burning sensation in my back and shoulders, with part of my back being numb at times. I’m scheduling an appointment with my neurologist but I figured I would see if anyone here had any input! Thanks 
Ellie, not diagnosed with a syrinx but like you I haven’t had my t-spine imaged and have the same symptoms. I asked this very question many months ago and several people said they have only a t-spine syrinx visible in MRIs.
