Staying activr

Hello everyone! I am another step closer to surgery and I have yet another question (I hope I am not driving you crazy!) Other than walking, what are ways we can stay active? I have gotten opinions but they are from those who do not have Chiari. Thanks!

For my part, I found that exercise before surgery was not met with great success. Yoga, pilates, running, cycling, gym, aerobics, bowling. They all had a variety of problems and tended to flare up chiari stuff before I even knew I had chiari. I never knew why I would be so fatigued after exercising and have a headache! Neck extension and flexion were especially bad. Other people respond to exercise in different ways so hopefully you can try different things out to see what works best for you.
