Spinal mri question

My last spinal mri, a large vitamin was taped directly over the spot where my syrinx is. The mri showed the syrinx had drained and now considered minimal. My question is this, can the vitamin taped over the area construe the mri test result? Is it possible that syrinx completely drained on its own? Or is it possible that the syrinx remains unchanged but shows different results due to the vitamin being placed directly over it? Any help?? Much thanks!!

Sorry, the radiologist taped a vitamin on my back directly where the syrinx was/is as a marker for my thoracic vertebre. Ive never had that done in my many previous mri’s, so it was odd to me as well, and i wonder if the actual vitamin offset the mri images of the syrinx.
