Took my son for his 3 yr check up today with his pediatrician. Talked to him about my concerns with him still walking and running on his tip toes and the possible chiari symptoms he is showing. He is sending him to a Pediatric Neurosurgeon. He didn't want to say yeah it sounds like he may have it, but didn't say he didn't think he doesn't. Now my stress level just jumped to a new high and my symptoms are going into overdrive. Please say a prayer or send good vibes our way. Love to you all. Hope you are all having a pain free day.
Jessi,
We are all pulling for you and praying for you and your beautiful boy. I worried/worry about my kids having Chiari too. My son had alot of issues when he was your sons age and we had him checked out too. He doesn't have Chiari but he has walked on his toes his whole life. He's 13 now and has grown out of it for the most part. He has sensory issues that caused him to walk on his toes. It sounds like you have a great doctor and that you are getting great care for him. Just take a deep breath and know that you are doing the right thing for him. We are all here for you.

Thank you so much Emmaline. I'm trying my hardest not to worry about it. Doing as good as can be expected I think. I'm very thankful that the ped. decided to send him to the NS to be sure.

Aw Jessi, I hear your pain. It's great to hear that the ped is into getting an opinion of a NS.
Let this play out, and see what's going on first. You don't need the stress yourself.
Keep us updated, and we will certainly keep you in thought and prayer...
Thank you Wendy. I pray that it is something else. But in the back of my head, I'm trying to prepare for the worst. Thank you so much for your support and kind words. They really help.
