Hello All, I hope all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! I just have a quick question, I have been experiencing more pressure in my head, mostly at the top of my head and to the left side of my head. I also have what I call as electrical shock feeling in my head that go on and off. Do you think this is chiari related? The other strange thing I have noticed is that I have somehow developed a sensitivity to my contacts. I have been wearing contacts for 20 years, and it seems now that after a I have them in for a couple hours my eyes get irritated, blurry, and hard to keep my eyes opened all the way. I have disposable contacts so I have thrown out numerous pairs now thinking it was them but even a brand new pair will do this to me. Anyways, its probably nothing but was wandering if anyone else had these strange symptoms? thank you
I have also had dry eyes for some time on and off. My dr. thinks it is related if that helps.
That's strange! My eyes have been watery since my symptoms ramped up. I'm constantly dabbing at my eyes with a tissue, making people think I'm crying! I'm not, I swear, just soggy eyes! :)
RE: electric shocks... I have the same thing in my limbs. Sometimes I think it's my phone vibrating near my leg or arm and when I look, the phone is across the room and not ringing.
Definitely bring it up with your doctor next time you visit.

Hi Jojo!
My pressure has increased in my head as well. Its pretty much a constant headache that just moves around my noggin...in the morning in the back of my head...lunchtime its the front...dinner time its the left side...I also have the electrical shock feeling, but it is mostly in my arms, hands, legs and feet. It does occasionally go up my neck and into my face. And, I have the same issue with my contacts. I actually had perfect vision up until about 2 1/2 years ago, and now I'm in bifocals and my vision keeps getting worse. Coincidence? I think not... I can't wear my contacts for more than a couple hours. If I do I end up feeling like I want to just scratch my eyes out. So, you are not alone!! And definitely, bring it all up with your doctor. I plan to when I see mine tomorrow.
