I am 1 week post op, having decompression surgry and C1 lamenectomy. I had been seeing a Chiropractor for a couple of years due to neck pain and RT shoulder pain that would extend to my RT wrist. Since my decompression surgery last week my usual neck/RT shoulder pain have completely disappeared. I have not had one headache due to pressure as well. My NS advised that he found a band a scar tissue on the dura where the skull was rubbing the dura. Once the piece of skull was removed he relieved the scar tissue and the dura axpanded and allowed the CSF to flow immediately. My time in the OR was only 1.5 hours. I was released the following day at noon.
The Dr's and nurses at the Methodist Hospital in addison Texas were amazing and I would recommend them to anyone having CM issues,

Dr. Richard Jackson is also included in this group. I apologize for rambling but I am just so happy and the constant pain is no longer there. I pray I can be of some help to someone here. I know this site helped me in so many ways and I feel is what led me to reach out and find a specialist dealing with CM.
