Picture with measurements of Chiari

Some folks are wanting to know where the lines are on your MRI, as you can see on this example, lines drawn below the foramen magnum and this one has a syrnix.

Actually Kim you can upload multiple images but we can't read MRI's for anyone. I am really sorry, we can't due to liability reasons. You can always send Abby a Private Message and ask her personal opinion.

I’m confused about the different definitions of Chiari. Does any one know much about Dr. Tew? How did he define Chiari?

My MRI doesn't have any lines because out of 3 MRIs not one radiologist has noticed my tonsils being stuffed down into my foramen magnum! My NS diagnosed my chiari when I went for a consult for my c5/6 spine...

Thanks Suzyq. That is what I am hoping for. I have idiopathic syrinx, but I look at my MRI and I’m hoping its cm… I have heard cm gets missed a lot on mris
