I have a scheduled appt. to see a NS regarding my Chiari I coming up in a few weeks. We are driving 5.5 hrs. for this appt. because their is no specialist in our area. When the NS office called to schedule this appt. they mentioned that they were scheduling for me to have a X-ray done right before my appt. Does anyone know why they do this?
They asked that I bring all my medical information such as labs, scans, reports, etc... which I planned to do anyway. Prior to making this appt. I had to send by fax copies of my MRI reports prior to getting the consultation appt. scheduled. I was just wondering what the doctor is looking for by doing the X-ray?
