Woke up this am with a pretty good headache. Of course went to that “it is only a treatment not a cure” I took 4 Advil as I am down to one oxycodone a day. Didn’t want to start first thing in the morning. For my whole life I have had ha’s and always taken Advil,Tylenol and right before both surgeries broke down and went into my stock pile of pain meds. Nothing has ever gotten rid of a headache. Not even the heaviest being diluaded. I took the 4 Advil got my ice pack and prepared for the long miserable day that normally would have ended with no less than 12-16 pills plus an oxy for good measure. After about an hour my headache was gone!!! I almost didn’t know what to do. So I cleaned,vacuumed, did all the beds, moved all the living room furniture and a few loads of laundry. I never thought I would be in a place where my headache would actually go away. You almost are scared to feel positive because it is a new experience. I have had a ha go away overnight or after days of sleep but to be able to just take some Advil and have a ha go away… I have never even known that could and should really happen. Just have seen some requests for something positive- well for me - this is a life changing event. There can be a good outcome. Now so cautious about being to optimistic and hoping I won’t eat these words someday - but for today - I don’t have a headache. For those who are frustrated and scared there can be light at the end of the tunnel. It sure is getting brighter…
